This can activate the language center in the brain and thus shift control to the pre-frontal cortex. This is the seat of regulation. This takes you away from the seat of emotions i.e. your amygdala.Are you not able to control your stress due to anxiety and stress? Take decision immediately. Achievement through decisions releases the chemical dopamine, which increases the feeling of control, motivation and pleasure. This reduces unnecessary stress. If there is a delay in taking decisions, your control reduces and stress increases.Do you feel sorry for your behavior after confronting someone? Unpleasant situations cause cortisol to be released in the brain. This is a survival response, where you are neither able to think straight nor speak. In such a situation, leave the situation and get out. This will reduce cortisol level. Your control will increase and you will be able to take decisions.
